Spanish Movie (2009)
Short review: "Spanish Movie" is a spoof of contemporary Spanish language films and movies by Spanish directors, such as "The Others", "The Orphanage", "[Rec]", "The Sea Inside", "Volver" and Guillermo Del Toro's "Pan's Labyrinth", which already can be considered as half-failure, since "Spanish Movie" can succeeds only with an audience familiar with the above mentioned films it parodies. Unfortunately, "Spanish Movie" fails on almost every level - it lacks comedic creativity, the jokes are hackneyed and painfully unfunny, the characters are dumb as a rock and pretty annoying, and the acting is laughably over-the-top, but not in a good way. "[Rec]" references in the middle, and at the end of the movie, remain the best and most amusing parts of this contrived mess of a movie. Nice cinematography and art direction though!

I'm soooooo tired of these damn spoofs. All that money could go into something much better and useful.
Me too, Jaccsy, but I was curious about this one, since is the first spoof that comes from Europe. Unfortunately, it was as bad as the American ones.
