Quickrating: Thomas Jane's "The Dark Country" is a messy, pointless and amateurishly shot horror flick, with zero value of entertainment. In the acting department, both, Thomas Jane and Lauren German deliver an okay performances. The atmosphere was dark, but not creepy enough, and intensity was down to a minimum level. The ending was the only decent moment of this film, yet it wasn't strong and original enough to save "Dark Country" from being terrible.
