[8.75/10] Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)

Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019)

Quick Review: Is it for Tarantino's distinctive style, or for the tastefully recreated fuzzy retro visuals, or the stellar work by the brilliantly-paired Pitt and DiCaprio, whose chemistry is off the scale, but "OUaTiH" has to be the most riveting non-plot movie you'll ever see, which is 2 hours of cheeky randomness about zest for acting, narcissism, and hippies, and 40 min of brutal awesomeness, with the wicked third act making up for all the film's narrative flaws.

It was just a tad too long for us to venture into the theater, but definitely want to see it when it hits video. I've always liked his style of directing.

It was way too long, indeed. My butt stuck to the seat at one point. lol. This film had Tarantino style written all over it. The third act was just wow.
