Quick Review: As gentle and frail as its delicate subject matter, this Flemish transgender coming-of-age drama is refreshingly open-minded in its approach, which gives the whole 'sex change journey' an oddly normal feel, and this is exactly what makes "Girl" so special, despite its sluggish pace, along with Polster's astonishing physical transformation as Lara and his natural acting talent which makes you believe 100% that his disheartened character dreams to become a real female.
