[6.25/10] The Dirt (2019)

The Dirt (2019)

Quick Review: Undoubtedly aptly- titled, "The Dirt" depicts the story of the infamous rock band Mötley Crüe in scandalous fashion, exposing the darkest, filthiest, lowest moments of the mostly degrading members and the group as a whole, and though it's utterly stereotypical and by-the-numbers in its narrative and none of the characters is particularly likable, this musical biopic is 'trashy fun' in a rockstar kind of way, not to mention it manages to convey some genuine emotions in the third act.

We watched it last weekend and thought it was rather good. They were certainly messed up, and messed up just about every life they touched. The end part was sad though.

To be honest, I liked Lords of Chaos better. Yes, the final act was pretty emotional, indeed.
