Quick Review: A pretty far-fetched remake that comes dead on arrival, "Death Wish" is too straightforward to be a thrilling experience, and yet, the whole a surgeon-turned-justice seeker affair is so exaggerated, it's has zero plausibility. In typical Roth fashion, the graphic death scenes leave nothing to imagination, which makes them a bloody fun to watch, but the miscast Bruce Willis is barely invested in his urban Grim Reaper role, which kills the film's potential of being a guilty pleasure.

Honestly, Roth should stop mucking around and finally give us Thanksgiving. He's great with dumb horror movies so, really, what possessed him to waste his time remaking Death Wish, a movie way above his worth?
Not bad talking the feller out but, yeah. Bleh...
I heard it fell really flat. Really, it was a role made just for Charles Bronson.
Yeah, I rolled my eyes a few times, but at least it wasn't boring.
Kaijinu, I agree. He should stick to what he does best - silly, gory, over-the-top horror flicks.
