Quick Review: Utterly dripping with atmosphere, Balagueró's latest wins points for being unique, untypical, and unpredictable, but unlike his horror masterpiece "[REC]", "Muse" succeeds in being tonally ominous, but fails to generate the sense of dread and fear effectively enough to make its otherwise pretty intriguing, if occasionally confusing story more memorable, in spite of its director's incontestable technical skills behind the camera and skillful techniques in maintaining creepiness.
