Quick Review: Surrounded by an enigmatic atmosphere and providing subtle chills, "Voice from the Stone" is an elegantly-directed, and visually refined mystery drama that benefits largely from its eerie period setting, and though it keeps you moderately intrigued, its "The Others"-like ghost story is too slow and uneventful for the most part to be exciting enough. Besides, Emilia Clarke's acting is so irritating, you'll probably struggle to bond with her character.

Pass on the irritating. Funny how one miscast actor can ruin the whole film.
Exactly. Casting is crucial, Clarke wasn't appropriate for the role.
