Quick Review: It is great to see a no-big-studio movie with no familiar faces that's
well-made for what it is, and that is exactly the case with the Caribbean-set "Extortion" - a family- holiday-gone-so-wrong blackmailing affair that keeps things as realistic as it gets, and maintains the tensity through, despite the plot's inevitable predictability. Eion Bailey carries the entire film, portraying fear, exertion, and desperation rather credibly, and Barkhad Abdi proves to be the right pick playing the bad guy.

this was the best thriller ive seen in 8 years
Have you seen many? :) I mean... this one is far from "the best".
The movie was good but the ending really pissed me off after watching everything it just ends after finding out what happens to the guy for what he's done
It was (in one word) predictable.
Good story
Agreed.
I agree I just finished watching the movie and was like REALLY!!!! I hope they make a sequel to this because it was a really good movie!!
I doubt they will make a sequel, but it's still an okay flick.
Very Suspending thriller !!!! even though it is a litte far fetched, in what situation he falls sometimes. Maybe because the makers want to Let you know that there is not much you can do but go all the way to save your family.clearly a really good movie with good acting and you stay on the edge of your seat all the time. 9+ for me!
Thanks for the comment, Nat. I wasn't on the edge of my seat the whole time, but overall it's a decent effort. 9+ is a way too high rating for this one, sorry.
