QuickRating: The most memorable "Shrek" character finally got the solo spotlight it deserved. It ain't groundbreaking, but it still delivers what it promises - the animation is dazzling, the 3D adds to the already slick visuals, the jokes work and the plot is fun, engaging and exciting. Antonio Banderas does an amazing job voicing the title character, and the rest of the cast is great, but it's the hilarious 'Ooh cat' that remains the true highlight of the movie.

I am dying to see this movie, lol! I have it in my Netflix queue... not 3D though. :(
Caledonia, you should be excited about this one, as it's absolutely fantastic. I bet it will look just as great in 2D as it does in 3D. ;)
Saw it in the theater and really enjoyed it. More of just a straight adventure than an animation. And yes, the "Oooooooooooh!" cat stole the show.
Alex, I just love that cat, and I knew right from the start that the movie will end with it. :)
I bought it in 3D and it is excellent!
Max, well it's not my favorite animated flick of the year but I still love it.:)
Why is it that this is the movie that I am most excited to see recently? It's gotta be so cute, I'm sure I'll love it!
Oh, and then I'll watch those other little movies that are supposed to be good like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and such... :)
Michele, Puss in Boots wasn't groundbreaking or anything, but it was so much fun and so beautifully animated. I think you're gonna love it! :)
Did you see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo or not? I actually liked Fincher's version better than the original.
Hopefully I can make the time to rent it soon. I want to see it soooo bad... will do a review when I finally see it!
Michere, which one Puss or The Girl? :) You'll be pleased by either of the two films ;)
