Soldier Spy (2011)
QuickRating: It's pretty to look at, thanks to the beautiful production design and atmospherically dim cinematography, and Gary Oldman along with the rest of the cast deliver outstanding performances, but "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" suffers badly from an unfocused narrative, incoherent plot structure and a lazy direction that turn it into a dull and lifeless espionage thriller, with little to no thrills at all.

Yay! Finally someone else who didn't find it that great!
Mr.Review, yay indeed. :) I found it pretty, but rather boring and far from being great. Glad you agree with me on this one. ;)
Bummer, I'd really hoped this one would be good. Really like Oldman as an actor.
whoops! A surprisingly mediocre review. Still haven't seen it, but I'm looking forward to, especially because I fuckin' love Gary Oldman and director Tomas Alfredson.
Alex, Oldman was great, the movie - not so much. It left me very disappointed... and bored.
Maynard, the film was so messy and so dull, I just couldn't give it a higher rating. The performances were superb, the visuals were great two, but it was the most UNexciting film I've seen last year.
