Quick Review: Its potentially fun, yet dramatic 'a drinking experiment gone wrong' story is highly original and intoxicating to watch, but "Druk" is way more profound then it seems, concerning themes such as midage angst, catharsis, and how alcohol affects our lives, and when you add to that Mikkelsen's brilliant turn as the emotionally numb teacher with family issues, and Vinterberg's deft, stylistically classy direction, the end result is a beyond absorbing piece of Scandinavian cinema.
