Quick Review: It wins some points for concerning a curious subject of 'synthetic telepathy', and Christina Ricci's paranoid main performance creates sympathy for her troubled, emotionally fragile character, but despite that and the cool 'smart building' setting, "Distorted" never develops its on-paper potential to dig deeper into the whole mystery, being inconsistent, barely plausible, mostly boring, and pretty cheesy in parts, and believing it's a lot more clever than it actually is.
