Quick Review: The last moment connection with the original make it some sort of prequel, but that aside "The Cloverfield Paradox" is simply a contrived clutter of a sch-fi thriller that pretends to be 'a crazy space ride' with random shocks, but in the end very little about it makes sense. The first-rate production values give this surprise Netflix release slick feel and although the cast is well-picked, they barely share any real chemistry which lets it down further.

Wow, I thought it was excellent. Ten times better than last year's lame Life. I would've paid money to see it in the theater. I'd give it a nine at least.
I enjoyed Life so much more. I actually thought TCP was more similar to Life than Life was to Alien.
Meh, give me Event Horizon anytime. Anything but this...
Loved Event Horizon!
