Quick Review: A real extraordinary actual story, executed in a bit more conventional way than it deserves to be, "12 Strong" is intrepid, heroic, inspiring, and above all respectful to the unimaginable feats of the dozen American soldiers it honors, but the more common representation of the events takes away from the depth and emotional impact. That said, the fine camera work, barren yet pretty scenery, and thrilling battle scenes make it technically strong, plus, all the cast do a great job.
