Quick Review: The third film based on Brown's novels hooks you from the get-go and never lets up, which constantly keeps you on your toes, but then again the pacing is rushed. If you manage to overlook the fact how absurd the whole thing is, you'll have a good time solving the puzzle behind the mystery bit by bit, along with the passably-acted characters. Apart from the CGI-ish 'hell' visions, "Inferno" has some nice visuals too, being set in fine locations. The taut final act is the highlight.

I think the books are absurd as well.
Haven't read them, but I bet they are. At least the films are reasonably entertaining...
