Quick Review: It's no "Spy", and it doesn't work as well now, as it did in the '80s, but the let's call it 'female version' of "Ghostbusters" feels not only nostalgic and fresh at once, but also provides just enough originality to stand on its own as a waggish, at times silly, yet enjoyable reboot with some cartoon-like creatures in neon colors, cool 3D effects, and a stellar cast that are all basically a comedic match made in heaven. Jillian's 'new babies' scene towards the end is an eye-popping visual blast.

It's one I'll catch on NetFlix. Everyone says it's good, but the reboot phase has just worn me out.
I think it turned out good, and that's coming from a guy, who's not even a fan of the original. :)
I want more of this Ghostbusters team. These gals have potential!
Seriously, I don't get the big drama was about and I'm the kid who grew up with the Ghostbusters franchise! (well, maybe not the 80s toon, but I did have my time with the 90s Extreme Ghostbusters series. Also, I'm yet to taste green Hi-C...)
They do. I thought they were quite funny, actually. :)
I've seen the originals in the '90s too. ;)
