Looper (2012)
QuickRating: "Looper" is slightly confusing and difficult-to-follow at first, but once you get into the highly original and well-thought-out story, you'll find yourself utterly compelled by it. Rian Johnson's shooting style is reminiscent of Chris Nolan's, if more tone-downed, the CGIs are superb, the tone is suitably grim, and the make-up effects are top-notch. The most down-to-earth sci-fi flick in years also boasts a stellar cast, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt being unrecognizably brilliant in the leading role.

It was a brilliant film and incredibly original story. One of my favorites this year.
Alex, well, I wasn't crazy about it, but I still liked it a lot. The gloomy atmosphere put me off a bit.
I wanted to kill Bruce Willis' character myself in this. It was a good movie, loved the twists, but Old Joe was so selfish and cruel. I don't care that he thought he would get his wife back, you don't ever cross that line. EVER. He made me so angry, I'm still fuming LOL
Mel, I agree. He wasn't the most likable character ever. lol.
I liked the movie a lot, I just expected it to be even better.
