QuickRating: Despite its promising premise, this British crap of a POV horror movie fails on almost every single level, except that it's shot in a creepy location, that is somewhat effective. However, featuring dull story, annoying characters and shallow dialogues, and lacking in suspense and genuine thrills, "The Tape" is the perfect example of how NOT to make a 'found footage' film. Avoid at all costs, unless if you're a die-hard fan of this genre.

OMG I HATED this movie. What a craptacular mess and I was suckered in by the premise. This is why I have such hard time with POV, I always seem to find shit. I demand my dollar back from Red Box, damn it! You're right about the location, it gave me a bit of the creeps. Great review, you shredded it with your usual style, hon.
Mel, I didn't like it either, though I can't say it's the worst horror movie I've seen.
Hey, you really need to see a couple of good POV movies, but I don't know what movie to recommend you really. In fact, I'm afraid to do it. LOL.
That's too bad but I'm glad I got the warning before giving it a shot. I'm pretty sure the movie poster would have fooled me into trying it. The poster is kind of intriguing visually.
Nicole, don't get mislead by the poster... it's probably the only good thing about this movie. Skip it.
let me be just the first to say WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DID THIS FILM FOR?!
Kaijinu, what were they thinking? It was soooo bad.
