Quick Review: Apart from the stiff line delivery, mostly sub-par acting, questionable CGIs, dated yet hardly cheap looks, and distracting score, this is actually a tense, watchable, and well-crafted straight-to-DVD late sequel, which offers some effective, even grisly bull shark and piranha- esque baby shark attacks, however, "Deep Blue Sea 2" takes itself a bit too seriously with all the scientifically absurd 'shark mind control' gimmick to be as brainlessly 'bloody fun' as the '90s classic original.

Laughable full of flaws poor cgi hardly any shark scenes and poor acting we watched it just to laugh at it. It started looking ok but got more ridiculous as it went on!
I give it zero star. Waste of time. Shows how bad the skill of the director is.
Well, there have been much worse shark flicks in the past. The CGIs wuere kind of okay, considering the tiny budget.
Eager, it doesn't deserve such a rock-bottom-low rating. It watchable for the most part. Plus, the original wasn't that great in the first place.
1/10. Laughable. The screaming shoal of baby bulls were hilarious. Might become a drinking game staple. The plot? To make sharks smarter to stop machines taking over the world?! Hahahahaaaaaaa. Brilliant....ly awful.
First of all, it wasn't meant to be smart, and second of all the baby sharks part was the funniest. You guys shouldn't take suc movies seriously, and just enjoy them for their stupidity.
Why again does this exist? Why after almost 10+ years since that CG shark ate CG Samuel Jackson?
No clue. It was unnecessary, but occasionally fune nonetheless.
Why,why make this?As a lover of anything with sharks in it,and someone who has seen the original too many times to admit, this was shameful!
C'moooon, it wasn't that bad, compared to most shark flicks out there.
