Quick Review: Hyper futuristic, yet sentimentally referential, Spielberg's visually opulent, albeit overwhelming CGI-built pop culture paradise is a feast for the eyes, and every geek's dream-come-true -- a video game- like VR extravaganza that leaves too little to imagination, leveled up by a smartly-structured plotting, vigorous pacing, cool characters, a touch of sweet romance, and a few touching bits here and there, "Ready Player One" is a digitalized trip into a world of enchanting nostalgia.

Well put. I wasn't sure I'd like it after the first fifteen minutes, but one it introduced more real world characters, I did.
