Quick Review: Its slow pacing may be a bit demanding, and the impact it makes is far from gut-wrenching, but Green's strong directional debut is nevertheless a quietly powerful effort that touches and inspires with its profound and sensual fact-based story about love, heroism, frailty and support. Carried by Jake Gyllenhaal sensationally affecting performance, and shot with sense of authenticity, "Stronger" is a sad, harrowing, and often difficult to watch, if gloriously moving film experience.
