Quick Review: Both, unnecessary and lifeless, Arden Oplev's remake of the 90's movie of the same name not only fails miserably to improve upon the original, but judged merely by itself, "Flatliners" is an incapably-executed and poorly-directed effort that is neither clever enough as a sci-fi flick, nor even remotely scary as a horror one, due to a derivative script lacking in originality and fresh ideas, and an otherwise pleasant cast, who's characters are, funnily, dead from the neck up.
