Quick Review: Following one poor, but lively, and talented African girl's journey of becoming a chess player phenomenon, "Queen of Katwe" is really a movie of contrasts - on one hand it's Phiona's happy childhood against the struggles of her family, and on the other it's colorful African surroundings against all the poverty most of the characters live in. Still, it's a feel-good film that may inspire many viewers of different ages, and the acting by Nalwanga and Nyong'o deserves a recognition.
