Vampires Suck (2010)
"Vampires Suck" is yet another ultra-stupid and completely unnecessary spoof, this time based on the mega popular "Twilight" movies, and brought to us by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the idiots behind "Date Movie", "Epic Movie", "Meet the Spartans" and "Disaster Movie". And, yes, "Vampires Suck" is as terrible as its spoof predecessors. It's actually so dumb, it might seriously harm your brain. The truth is, this film doesn't contain a single laugh! It's full of hackneyed, painfully unfunny jokes and cheap gimmicks. The pacing of the movie also seems totally and completely off, and the editing is worse than poor. The acting ranges from bad to horrible. Jenn Proske who plays Becca, looks a lot like Kristen Stewart physically, but her attempts to imitate Stewart's awkwardness are pathetic. Jenn looks so stiff and feels so out-of-place here, that she makes Kristen Steward look like an Academy Award winning actress. Matt Lanter does a fair job as Edward though. He's not only more handsome than Robert Pattinson, but obviously a better and more talented actor. The supporting cast is almost unnoticable - none of their characters are particularly interesting. I'm not a "Twilight" hater, and I'm not mad at this spoof for the cause it parodies the popular franchise... I'm mad, becuase it does in in the worst possible way. "Vampires Suck" is set to be released on Aug 18 in the US, and I urge you not to pay to see this pointless piece of crap.

Well I certainly hope you weren't expecting Gone With the Wind! :) Should have known this was going to be bad, just like all those other stupid spoofs out there!
Jaccsy, just to mention the word 'quality' when speaking for this crap is a sin :) It's that bad!
TGWLH, I wasn't expecting it to be great, but I was hoping it will be at least watchable. It wasn't. There were some decent spoofs form the past, such as "Scary Movie" and "Not Another Teen Movie", and for a moment I thought "Vampires Suck" could be one of those... What was I thinking?!:)
