Marmaduke (2010)
Short review: "Marmaduke"'s creators obviously have no idea that talking dogs are not fun to watch anymore, especially when these dog characters are silly and annoying as Marmaduke himself. Marmaduke is a big, spoiled, goofy dog, that talks with a creepy CG-animated mouth and does stupid things. The story is nothing-to-write-home-about, and the acting is mediocre at best - I couldn't believe how dull the incredibly talented Lee Pace and the incredibly talented William H. Macy were in this. The film itself is a sea of unfunny on-liners, stupid pee/poop jokes and... no jokes. Its visuals are bright and fresh, but the unimpressive direction form Tom Dey, and the cheesy CGI and sound effects, make "Marmaduke" look like a low quality production. "Marmaduke"? More like 'Marmafake'!

With the failure of this film and Cats & Dogs 2 at box office I hope they've learned to just give these animals a necessary holiday and not forcing them in another unnecessary production.
Well-said, Jaccsy. I couldn't agree more :)
