Quick Review: The premeditatedly slow-paced and slightly uneventful first hour makes it difficult to invest in, but once the actual mystery kicks in in the middle, "Burning" smoothly develops from a very low-key drama focused on a weird love triangle into a quietly haunting thinking person's thriller full of symbolism and clever metaphors that provokes the brain with its perplexing puzzle of a plot, and enigmatic triplet of characters, played beyond convincingly by the well-picked Korean cast.
