Quick Review: Nicely old school and very authentic in terms of feel and look, "Summer of '84" plays it as child game at the start, with all the suspicion, spying and harmless investigation by the four likable kids, but the further the story unfolds, the darker this subtle serial killer chiller becomes, with the contrasting third act going full hardcore for those love their slow-burners culminating in something rather shocking. The genuine acting by everyone makes the film further realistic.

I like that old school feel so I'll check it out.
Alex, it requires patience, but otherwise it's fairly good.
