Quick Review: Basically "Twilight" with angels, and lots of cheese, it is a poor attempt at mixing fantasy and romance -- predictable, derivative, and made with little money and even less taste, "Fallen" does not even manage to take an advantage of its charming female lead, providing her with lame material to work with, and a screen partner she has absolutely zero chemistry with. All the fantasy elements lack until the final act, and there is nothing great to say about the use of CGIs, either.

I've not even heard of it. Now I know why.
Alex, this one went under the radar for a reason. It sucked.
i've read the books and they were nothing great but the movie takes it to another level. Lots and lots of smoke effect shots, blurry in and out zooming, bad transitions, studio filmed scenes and cheap looking wings. Also, the script was written by 3 people and none of them thought that hey, maybe we should include some dialogue in the movie for the audience other than the very innovative brooding silences all YA adaptations suffer from!
Very detailed criticism, and I couldn't agree more with you.
Just watched the movie andhighly disappointed with the poor acting, poor storyline, zero chemistry with the characters, and terrible fight scene at the end. Disastrous screenplay does not entice the viewer with an interest to pay attention. My 12 year old niece could have done a better job with the screenplay. I have to say that I was excited at first since I enjoy stories regarding fallen angels was really hoping that Hush, Husheouldve made it to the screen. After this disaster it will never be considered as this fizzling adaptation has ruined the concept for the silver screen. Heartbroken!!!
Myra, it seems we're on the same page about this one. I was terribly disappointed as well.
