The Lorax (2012)
QuickRating: The graphics are definitely imaginative, the polished CGI animation is exuberant, vivid and colorful, most of the characters are absolutely adorable, and the film brings a great moral message for little kids, but despite all these positive aspects, while Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax" is cute, enjoyable and easy to watch, it isn't particularly special, original or very memorable, especially plot-wise, and will hardly stand the test of time.

Which is a shame since the book on which it is bases has stood the test of time.
Alex, it's a shame indeed. The book is definitely better.
I thought this was pretty mediocre too. The nephews liked it, but I preferred Horton Here's A Who, myself. :)
Mel, believe it or not, I haven't seen Horton Here's A Who. Do you think I should give it a go?
Wasn't interested in seeing this on account of the trailer looking like the film had missed the point of the book completely! Sounds like you said it all.
Russ, it did. They did an awesome job with the animation, but the story was lacking.
