These are some great tunes. I'm putting together my list as well. It's really hard, but I'm picking songs that have important meanings and memories to me. I love the Mariah, Boys II Men song, too. :)
Thanks, Mel. Glad you liked those ;) Oh, it was extremely hard for me as well, and that's why I decided my list to include club traxx only. All of them mean something to me, of course. Mariah and Boyz II Men collaboration is simply amazing! Can't wait to hear your top 10 tunes!
Clever to include the music! I went with album covers. You and Dezz both went for unique.
Thanks for participating!
No, thank YOU, Alex! :) I love your blogfests, and I'm happy to be a part of them. ;) Glad you found it unique.
I'm glad to see MySpace has found its purpose....
It's a great resource for music.
Andrew, in fact, I didn't use it for the tunes, but only for the artists' profiles.
Awesome list my man. Ima big house fan myself!
Matt, really? I'm so glad to hear that. I thought I was the only house fan here :) Which one did you like most?
Eric Pyrdz-Pjanoo. It's epic. It has that rim rocking quality where I can listen to it while dropping beats at the club or sitting in front of my computer looking for inspiration.
House music is the shit! I am fortunate to live near NYC, so I can get my ample dosing whenever I need it. I've convinced many of my friends to really appreciate it too.
Judging by your stellar list, you know your house music. So anytime you come across some fresh house, holler at me. I'm always looking for that new track.
Thanks!
Matt, it's truly epic, indeed. :) i've been into house music since the late 90s, so I'm pretty familiar with it, and which genres I like the most. Progressive house is my absolute favorite genre! As for the best artists/DJs, the following are my favorites: Seamus Haji, Wawa, Stonebridge, Dave Spoon, Kaskade, Freemasons, Serge Devant, Sharam, John Creamer, Hernan Cattaneo, Romain Curtis.. etc.
I'll be glad to share some fresh house tunes with you, buddy :)
A great selection I didn't know you could put a bonus one. still well done.
Yvonne.
Thanks, Yvonne. The bonus track was my idea.. I just sometimes break the rules :)
What a brilliant idea to incude the music and thank you for introducing me to a type of music I'm not used to!
Ellie, thanks :) Glad you liked the idea of including the tracks :) You're welcome...I hope you enjoyed it.
Hey there! Nice to meet you. I'm a house junkie too... tho from back in the day (early to mid nineties) so I'm a little out of the loop and don't recognize your songs.
Looks like you have a great blog here. :)
Pk Hrezo, hello and welcome to CineMarvellous! :) Nice to meet you, too. Glad you like both, my blog ant the tracks :) I hope to see you here more often. :)
Wow. I know NONE of these. LOL
Jessica, give them a shot then :) You're not familiar even with "One Sweet Day"? OK, now that's shocking :)
this is my starting point after alex c. of course... off to a club dance remix... i have never heard of any of these... except the video..
thanks for the music upgrade!

[iZombie]
Nothing looked familiar on this list. I'm really don't know much about music, though. I stumble across things I like now and again but am blissfully ignorant of the rest of the world.
iZombie, did you manage to listen at least a few of them or you wasn't interested?:)
That's okay, Vicki. It's not necessary to be familiar with any of these tracks. I hope you liked them though.
Oh, you take me back to my clubbing days! Thank you.
Love that last song - hadn't thought about it in forever! Club music isn't my genre, but I do like it. I enjoyed listening to your list. Thanks :)
Clarissa, glad to hear that :) Hope you njoyed the beats :)
Take Me Away? Yep, it's great I love it too.. obviously :) Glad you enjoyed it, Tara :)
jiminey! i don't even know WHAT house music is!!! or any of these songs...
this blogfest has me convinced i don't know very much music at all!
I can definitely see why One Sweet Day would be your favorite song of all time. It's rich in melancholy, and who among us hasn't experienced such painful loss?
bonus? cheater! j/k i like #2 the best.
aspiring_x, you're joking, right? :)
Jeffrey, well-said! You got it right... it's such a moving, emotional song.
Was a pleasure to hear some of these which I didn't know.
Chris, yep I'm a cheater :) And Pjanoo is AMAZING! :)
M Pax, glad you enjoyed the traxx :)
hahahaha, you last one was surprising!! I love that song but it's been so many years since I've listened to it! OMG, hilarious.
Don't know any of this music, but I have enjoyed the house music I have heard played on my local Public radio station.

Tossing It Out
Well, I hadn't heard of any of these. All new to me. However, I have heard of Mariah Carey.
So glad you put the music on. I would have just said "never heard of them" to most, but after hearing them, I have heard a lot of them. I liked them all, I do treadmill to music like this. #7 is my fav. stole it from my son. Oh, no BT or Weekend Players on the list?
I love that you put the music in there! Awesome! Great list, too!
i enjoyed 4,5 and 8... and it's the start that holds me... when they are to beat-ish in the start it turns my groove off...
One Sweet Day is such a great song! I love that you linked so we could listen to your songs. Quite a few on here that I had never heard before so it was nice to be able to just click and there they were!
How fun - Thanks for putting the music on. It's fun to listen to new stuff. =D
Always fun to discover new music ....
Great tracks.
Danceclubbin style! Rui Da Silva was the pick of the bunch. I enjoyed sampling :)
I don't know any of these (except the Mariah one) and listened. It made me want to dance. Mission accomplished, I'd say!
Excellent. Love this stuff. :)
Definitely not my kind of music, but it's fun to see what other people are into!
I don't know most of these, but I'm guessing you're a dance fan :D
Hannah, was it? :P It's 15 years old, but it's still sounds amazing! Glad I brought old memories to you :)
Lee, hope you enjoyed those tracks as well.
Gregg, hopefully you liked these, despite being unfamiliar to you.
Wendy Tyler Ryan, thanks. It wasn't easy, but I managed to do it. I did it exactly because I was afraid to hear the 'never heard of it' phrase. :)
#7 is pretty amazing, though I have no clue who's track is that. Shoot! Nope, BT are too trancy for my taste. I prefer progressive house. Thanks for the comment.
Ali, thanks. I'm glad I did it too, and I'm also glad you liked it :)
iZombie, glad you enjoyed these. The longer versions need a little more time, as they develope a bit slower. That's why, I've out mostly radio edits.
Jennie, it's a great song, indeed. Yep, I made it easy for you guys, so you can just listen these tracks, without things like "what the heck is that?!" coming to your mind :)
RaShelle, you're welcome. Hope you had a great time listening to them.:)
gideon86, 'discover' is one of my favorite words :) It's very fun indeed. Thanks, pal.
Elaine, exactly :) unfortunately, Rui Da Silva hasn't released anything new in a long time. He's still great though.
Lydia K, your comment made me really happy!:) Make you wanna dance is what I wanted to achieve. THANKS!
Liz Pezzuto, thanks. Glad you enjoyed those tracks.
Karen, it's great that you respect other people's tastes :)
Trish, I'm a huge dance fan, and it shows :)
Pretty cool list
Christopher, thanks :) I hope you enjoyed the tracks.
I don't know a lot of these songs, so it was great to hear a little clip of what they sound like. :) Mariah Carey is pretty awesome.

Finally got the chance to have a good listen, loving a lot of the stuff on here! :D
Angel, actually I've included the entire songs, not only samples from it :) Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed them.
Trisha, really? So glad you liked them! Which one did you like the most? I'm just curious ;)
I must admit that I've never heard of the majority of these.:-/ But "One Sweet Day" is a lovely song!
J.C., now you have :) "One Sweet Day" is a great song indeed. Thanks for the comment.
These blog hops are the greatest for finding out about new blogs - and new music!
Deniz, they sure are :) Did you like the music... and the blog?
Yes, I did! This is going to sound silly, but I first got into house through listening to The Stone Roses! That was ages ago and of course I'm completely out of touch now...
