Cool list man, although I've only seen about 5 of them... "The Host" is going to be featured soon on Midnight Screening when Tim covers Bong Joon-Ho :)
By the way, did you happen to catch "Jeepers Creepers 2"? Curious to know whether it's worth seeing.
-Adrian
Thanks, buddy. Glad you like it :) You should watch them all, coz they're all amazing.
Of course I did catch it, but honestly, I thought it was pretty mediocre. JC 3 will be out next year, so get ready :)
Excellent choices! And how could anyone not give Aliens a perfect ten? Best roller coaster ride of a movie ever. Tremors would've made it higher on my list and I probably would've included Pitch Black as well.
Thanks, Alex! :) "Aliens" is so amazing, that it deserves nothing but a perfect 10 :)
"Tremors" almost made my top 15. If it wasn't "Splice", it would have landed on No.15. "Pitch Black" was cool, but not good enough to be on the list.
Great list mate like always ;) Wonder when you will publish your best reviewed epic of all time.
Jaccs, I love making lists :) Best-reviewed epics? Hm, thanks for the idea :P
Thanks, pal.
Great list George! "The Host" was a gem in my opinion, something rare from the Asian continent.
Thanks, J-Son :)
I totally agree. "The Host" was an absolute gem, thanks to Joon-ho Bong' amazing direction and first-rate CGIs.
I just saw The Host (and reviewed it), one of my new favorites. Tremors should have made the top 5, seriously. Much beloved little flick right there, and it is genuinely well made. Jeepers Creepers really blows, I'm sorry! Never liked that one.
Great list, Aliens is great, and really liked the first Jeepers Creepers too, thought it was very different and liked it
Nebular - Love the list. I've seen most of them - exceopt the scary one's (Aliens aside. Loved Alien's). Big chicken here. LOL
I absolutely love the Alien films and The Thing. Jaws get me every time, too. Have not seen Splice, but will definitely check it out.
Melissa, glad you like most of those films. :) You should definitely give Splice a shot. Dren is a unique creature - one we've never seen before in a movie.
RaShelle, there's so much to love about Aliens, even if you put aside the aliens themselves.
Chicken? Really? People that get scared of movies and creatures I found sympathetic, as I've never get easily scared, if you know what I mean :)
Thanks, Demps. I loved Jeepers Creepers too. I thought it was the perfect campy fun. Plus the Creeper himself looks terrifying! Love his design.
TheGirlWhoLovesHorror , thank you so much for your kind words. The Host is a little gem! Loved it! Tremors is rather great, yet a bit unmemorable IMO.
Jeepers Creepers is probably my guiltiest pleasure ever! :)
