Quick Review: Way overlong, and fairly pretentious, especially in its artsy and moody first half, but very rewarding in its second, this horror thriller is a definition of cinematic lunacy - psychotic, sadistic, insanely violent, and let let by Cage's batshit crazy main performance, "Mandy" is a disturbing descent into madness that may be too much to handle for most viewers, because of the overly excessive gore and symbolic visuals it uses as a driving force to shock, mesmerize and provoke.

We're watching it this weekend. I heard it was bat crap crazy. Another blogger buddy absolutely hated it, so it must be a polarizing film.
Alex, if you survive the slow and moody first half, I think you will enjoy the rest. It's too much, but crazy good.
