Quick Review: Kenneth Branagh surprised us big time with "Thor", delivering a pretty fun flick, and he tries to achieve the same with this by-the-numbers reboot, and even if he does a less impressive job here, "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" still remains a fairly intriguing thriller that entertains with its charismatic, well- picked cast, tense chases and even tenser action sequences, despite its script's many fairly familiar elements and lack of 'curveballs'.
