Animal (2014)
Quick Review: It' is far from truly terrible, there are, fortunately, a couple of likeable characters you wouldn't want to get killed, and the practical creature effects are really surprisingly good, with the 'animal' itself being very well-designed and executed, but on the other hand "Animal" is way too formulaic and unoriginal to be able to stand out from the countless monster flicks out there, and it often doesn't work even as a B-grade fun, let alone as a proper horror movie.

Fantastic, you watched it! I see we disagree again, but I definitely like your review. See, I took myself out of it and just watched it for pure shits and giggles. If I weren't judging it on how entertained I was, my rating would be closer to yours. Good write-up, buddy!
Ugh. Based on that face alone I probably would not see it. My boys might though. They seem to take a fiendish delight in grossing out their mother! :O)
I dig a good monster flick, but it does have to possess some originality.
Drew, I did. I tried to enjoyed for what it was, but I just couldn't pass it faults. The monster was cool, though.
Thanks, buddy. :)
LuAnn, if you're not into mindless monster flicks, you better skip this one. Your boys might have fun with it. ;)
Alex, me too. This one was everything but original though.
