QuickRating: While this German B-horror movie certainly won't win any awards for originality and technical excellence, it still works on so many levels, it's unbelievable. "Urban Explorer" is intense, scary, gory and thoroughly realistic, and it features one of the craziest, most disturbingly believable psycho killers ever put on film. Moreover, set in a maze of dark tunnels under the city of Berlin, the movie is so insanely claustrophobic, it will leave you gasping for air.

Most German horror movies of the last years were pretty disappointing, but this one got a lotta good reviews, so I will definitely check it out soon.
Maynard, I was so pleasantly surprised by this one. Almost everything worked for me. Have you seen "Hell"? I thought it was a good micro-budget apocalyptic thriller.
Sounds very intense.
Alex, it's just as intense as it sounds.
I think it's best to describe this one as "Wolf Creek in a German Undergroudn Subway". kinda cool, though.
Kaijinu, I think you got it right. ;) Have you seen the film?
Haven't seen HELL yet but I may give it a shot, although the trailer looked a bit bland.
Long weekend this week, that means I will ransack my local rental store :)
It is bland, but only visually, and that works in its favor.
Long weekend? Why do you have some kind of holiday or something? By the you you left this comment on the wrong post. :)
yes. I saw both films and I can point a lot of similarities!
Kaijinu, I actually thought Urvan Explorer was better than WC. :)
well, it had claustrophobia working well in UE, but I still prefer WC. Mikey FTW!
I guess it's a matter of taste.
