QuickRating: Much like 2010's "Devil", "Elevator" mostly takes place in, well, an elevator, hence, those who can't stand such limited settings might get a little bit bored, but for more patient viewers, this surprisingly well-balanced and executed dialogue-driven thriller by Norwegian director Stig Svendsen has a lot more to offer - many thrills, lots of suspense and quite a few unexpected shocks, complemented by a solid amount of humor and some witty dialogues.

You mentioned "Devil" in the review and that's actually what I kept thinking while watching this. I didn't think this was bad or anything, I just think I would have liked it a lot more if I hadn't seen "Devil" just a year ago. It just felt like something I had just seen. :)
Hans, exactly. It was basically "Devil" without the devil. LOL. :) It was a bit of a mixed bag for me - some thing worked, others didn't, but as a whole I was pleased with it.
it kindaworked, but yeah, the superior Devil is still for me!
Kaijinu, it was a decent movie, but Devil remains the better of the two. ;)
