Quick Review: Telling a profoundly intimate story about sexuality, drug- related family issues, poorness, and bullying, by following three different stages of an oppressed black man's hard life, "Moonlight" is a simple, yet tender look at self-discovery, led by some impressive performances, but truth to be told, Barry Jenkins' slow and melancholic film is sadly neither compelling, nor poignant enough to grab all your senses and emotions, being too clichéd, and stereotypical to be something special.
