[7.00/10] The Amazing Spider-Man 2 [3D] (2014)

Quick Review: It doesn't have the same dose of wit and energy as the first film, but this sequel benefits yet again from Webb's perky direction, the star power of its excellent cast, as well as the delightfully elaborate action sequences, which look even cooler in awesome 3D. Dealing with few villains is risky, but the "TASM 2" skillfully avoids tangling itself in its own web, giving enough screen time to all of its characters, without being messy, or over-crowded.

Good to know as I really enjoyed the first one.

This one looks really good. I'm glad you gave it a fair rating. Keeps my hopes up for it. I didn't really care for the first film, but this one looks to be promising!

Alex, I did too. TASM 2 is a great follow-up for sure. I liked it a lot.

Grimm, I gave it a fair rating, because I think it deserves it.
The first film was better in my opinion, but this sequel is almost as good. Hope you enjoy it. ;)

I wasn't blown away by TASM, but I thought it was pretty solid and on par with Raimi's original. Hopefully TASM 2 is a worthy counterpart as well.

Cale, I personally thought it was better than Raimi's version. Having said that, if I have to compare Webb's sequel to Raimi's, I think the latter is superior. TASM 2 i a worthy successor though.
