Quick Review: An often inventive blend of an old-fashioned werewolf flick, mythological creature feature, and somber coming-of-age drama, "Wildling" puts a whole new spin on the genre, offering some fresh ideas executed in a clever way, a darkly macabre atmoshpere that matches the grim subject matter, some mostly satisfactory production values and a committed performance by Powley, but sadly this 'transformation' horror is all tone, gore, and eerieness, and no genuine scares at all.
Would you place it above or below Ginger Snaps?
