Quick Review: Horribly overdone in every aspect, this ugly mess of a freak show with trashy and tasteless heavy metal music video-like looks, shows its director Rob Zombie at his very worst, offering nothing but a copycat-ish plot with forced pacing and close to zero sense, randomly splattered excessive guts and gore, and shallow characters you couldn't care less for. Being a proper 'torture porn', "31" is ironically a torture to watch, and definitely one of 2016's biggest horror letdowns.
aww, wha? I really REALLY enjoyed this one. It's like a step up from the atrocious disappointments of Halloween II and Lords of Salem and back from the crazy visuals of House of 1000 Corpses.
