Quick Review: Set in various cool cities, this crafty follow-up is visually diverse, and pretty attractive to look at, but its appearance only adds to the overall entertainment value, as similar to its predecessor, "Now You See Me 2" has quite a few tricks up its sleeve to hypnotize the audience with, being a proper caper with fun plot that is hard to foresee, and an all-star cast that is hard not to like. The finely-shot 'hide the card' scene half-way through is a pure highlight, and so is the final show.

I didn't get to the theater to see this one, but I really enjoyed the first one.
ReplyDeleteI booked a ticked on the 3rd day of its release, but then something came up, so I couldn't go see it. Watched it yesterday, and have zero regrets about it. If you loved the first one, you'll love this one too.
ReplyDeleteI didn't care for the first movie at all. I felt it flew completely off the rails in the second half. I think that is why I haven't been excited for this one. Maybe when it hits Blu-ray though.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed it for what it was, and thought it had high entertainment value. The sequel is a step below that, yet still above average.
