Top 10 TV Shows Blogfest

Nebular's Top 10 TV Shows

My dear friend, Alex J. Cavanaugh, is hosting yet another cool blogfest, and I'm excited to participate in it. After the very successful The Movie Dirt Dozen Blogfest, it's time for another great list, with "entertainment" topic. It's the Top 10 TV Shows Blogfest! My list contains 5 of my favorite reality shows and 5 of my favorite TV series + a bonus entry. Enjoy!

1. The X Factor UK

Hands down, THE BEST singing competition in the entire world!
Direction, editing, sound - everything is pitch-perfect!
And let's not forget, that my girl, Cheryl Cole is one of the judges.

*****************************************

2. The Amazing Race

Super-entertaining and amazing, indeed!

*****************************************

3. American Idol

Great show! Almost on par with its UK's equivalent,
and still the better of two, "The X Factor"!

*****************************************

4. So You Think You Can Dance

Forget "Dancing with the Stars".
"So You Think You Can Dance" is the real deal!

*****************************************

5. Britain's Got Talent

Hilarious and laugh-out-loud funny!

*****************************************

6. The X Files

An enormously entertaining sci-fi/mystery/horror TV series.
An absolute cult show!

7. Twin Peaks

A timeless classic! David Lynch at his best.

8. The Twilight Zone

"The Twilight Zone"! Do I need to say more?

  1. X-Files - excellent choice! I confess I watch Idol every year, too. Good on you to go for a bonus show - so did I!

  3. Me also a reality show freak, I love watching Amazing race, Survivor, fear factor, the apprentice, extreme makeover, and quite enjoying such talent shows as Idol and X-factor too.
Series however is limited, I remember one series that made me fall in love with horror genre back in my younger days which is "Friday the 13th: the series", it has nothing to do with Jason Voorhees though only similar title.

  13. Jaccsy, I didn't know you're a reality show freak. That makes me like you even more! :) I've been watching X-Factor and Idol for over 4 years. I've seen a couple of seasons of Survivor, but not a huge fan. The Amazing Race however is a remarkable reality show. Love the Asian version as well ;)
I didn't know "Friday the 13th: the series" even existed! Friday the 13th always brings horror to mind, even without Jason Voorhees being a part of it.

  15. I'm not much for reality shows unless it involves cooking (but Project Runway is awesome). But man, I love your pics for tv series! Tales from the Crypt was a happy surprise. I think the show is why I love B-movies so much (well, along with Evil Dead). One of my all-time favorite Tales was the full-movie length DEMON KNIGHT with Billy Zane, Jada Pinkett Smith, and William Sadler. Course, it doesn't qualify as a tv show :)

  16. Summer Ross, yes, it made it, because it deserved it ;)

  17. Jenny, I noticed that as well. Obviously, there are many "X-Files" fans among us, which is great! "Tales from the Crypt" was my fav TV show, when I was little. I've seen all the episodes, with no exceptions :) Am I the only one who did runner ups? :) :P

  23. Angela, I somewhat prefer reality shows rather than TV series. Reality TV had always been so much more entertaining for me.

"Tales from the Crypt" was a SPECIAL bonus entry ;)

I've seen Demon Knight but I have to admit, I barely remember it :P
