[7.00/10] Halloween (2018)

Halloween (2018)

Quick Review: A solid successor to Carpenter's timeless original that is both nostalgic in feel and modern in its approach, this sequel has a contrived and fabricated plot, which develops in a foreseeable manner till the very finale, but "Halloween" is still a very effective and suspenseful slasher flick with as much tension as grisly death scenes, driven by both the sense of terror generated by the inhumanly cruel Michael Myers, and Jamie Lee Curtis' paranoid, if fierce comeback performance.

Never been a fan of slasher flicks but everyone says this movie is really good.

Alex, it was good. Pretty good. Was it amazing? Not really.

Best Wednesday of my life! Halloween (2018) is, indeed, a triumphant return for The Shape and his hack-n-stabby shenanigans!

Kaijinu, liked it a lot too. Felt a bit contrived though.
