I've not seen all of them. Thought The Babadook and Get Out were overrated. A Quiet Place was excellent though. I guess Annihilation is classified as science fiction with horror elements - that one was really freaky though.

Alex, yes, Annihilation should be part ofthe list, even though it's more a sci-fi filmrather than a horror one. Did you watch hereditary?

I wouldn't have The Babadook, Raw and Get Out on my list... But I would certainly include Sinister, Do not breathe. The Conjuring 2, The Night eats the world, Under the Skin... Other films on your list I aggree. especially Annihilation and A Quiet Place I have already watched them three times.

Vladimir, 'divisive' means that this film torn the audiences. The fact that either me or you liked these, doesn't make them less divisive, because there are many people who hated them. Those you've mentioned received much more positive reactions than negative.
