Quick Review: Skillfully-crafted by one of "[REC]" creators, Paco Plaza, this protagonist-driven supernatural horror movie may be more ominous that frightening, but the dread-filled, constantly sinister tone it maintains is good enough to give you shivers. Very unpredictable, often twisty and revolving around the title character, played so believably by the likable Escacena, "Veronica" is one of the better Ouija-related genre films due to its not-so-obvious approach with a true sense of mystery.
