[6.50/10] The Disaster Artist (2017)

The Disaster Artist (2017)

Quick Review: Following the whole making of the infamous-turned-cult classic film "The Room" by Wiseau, "The Disaster Artist" is an amusing, oddly fascinating, and occasionally touching movie-about-a-movie with tons of unexpected cameos, which succeeds mainly because of James Franco's talent behind and in front of the camera - with a truly sensitive approach as a director, and a fairly eccentric, yet accurate portrayal as an actor, he delivers a biopic that is as flawed as it's genuine.

After seeing RiffTrax riff The Room, I really want to see this one. I can't believe it's now a cult classic.

I haven't seen The Room, but I'm not sure I could bare it. Lol
This one was good, but not exactly my cup of tea.

I tried ten minutes of The Room. Never came back.

But seeing the fascinating cult following that dreck gathered, I think I'll try seeing it AFTER seeing this biopic.

The Room looked dreadful. This one is good, if a bit overrated.
