[6.50/10] Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011)

Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011)

QuickRating:
Absolutely genius at times, and quite ludicrous at others, but often amusing and constantly engaging, "Crazy, Stupid, Love." succeeds as a contemporary comedy because of its smartly-written script, witty dialogues and hilariously embarrassing situations, but it's the brilliantly talented cast that makes it truly worth-seeing and as funny as it is. Steve Carell is good as usual, but the true stars are Emma Stone and
Ryan Gosling.

I would only watch this to see Ryan Gosling shirtless.

Michael, you may see some other of his body parts too. :)

I would see this strictly for Emma and Steve. Both are hilarious, especially Emma. I adore her. It's also a plus to see Julianne and Marisa in there as well. Ryan Gosling is just okay to me, neither good nor bad, just vanilla. I had been on the fence til your review and you have swayed me to see it.

So you reviewed that perfectly in so little words… I don’t know how you do it but it’s great! I of course agree, smart film with minor downfalls but worth watching even if it’s just for Gosling and Stone. I think those two are doing another film together with Sean Penn called “Gangster Squad”. Can’t wait for the trailer.

Mel, I'm not the biggest Steve Carell fan, as I think h plays mostly jerks, but his character here is so sweet and likable. I LOVE EMMA STONE. She's everything I want from an actress and more. Julianne Moore is so underrated. I wish people give her more credit for her acting skills. You should check it out, it's not bad at all.

Nicole, thank you so much. I love to write those one-sentence reviews. I think they say so much with so little words. :)
I don't think I've heard of “Gangster Squad”, but I'll check the trailer out as soon as it gets released.
