[5.25/10] Horrible Bosses (2011)

Horrible Bosses (2011)

QuickRating: The premise is clever and potentially interesting, it brings a couple of good laughs along the way, and the wonderfully-assembled cast deliver, with Jennifer Aniston being particularly hilarious as the naughty 'maneater' Dr. Julia Harris, but it's Seth Gordon's dull, lackluster direction and the mildly funny script that let the film down. "Horrible Bosses" is watchable, but sadly, it's not nearly as amusing, witty and original as it was supposed to be.

I actually wanted to see this but then something in me repeatedly told me "Don't do it!".
Looks like the voice was right :)

Maynard, don't bother watching this mediocre comedy. It's just not funny enough.

I thought about going to see this, but hemmed and hawed because I just could not bring myself to commit to seeing it. Good thing I wavered, then didn't even bother to rent it. Too bad this wasn't better, the premise was interesting and I love Jason Bateman.

So much hype was built up for this movie, which left me pretty excited to see it. So you can imagine my disappointment when it ended up just being meh. I absolutely agree on Jennifer Aniston, she showed a side I’m not used to seeing her play and I really liked it. (I don’t usually praise her) I think she was the best part, which doesn’t say much since she was a rather small part. Spot on review.

Oh, you love Jason Bateman? Damn, I hate this guys. In my book, he has always been a one trick pony. Definitely not a fan.

Jennifer Aniston was hilarious though. I've never thought she could play a slut so well. :)

Nicole, I was excited about it as well, but ended up being terribly disappointed. Jennifer made the movie for me. I've never imagined she would play a naught slut, but I must admit she did a great job. I have nothing against her, and find her very charming. :)

I dunno, I really liked this one! I couldn't stop laughing at that scene with the allergic reaction.

Kaijinu, and I didn't. I expected it to be laugh-out-loud hilarious, but it ended up being only mildly funny.
