Gruesome Red Band Trailer for
Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings

I, personally, loved the original movie. I thought it was intense, brilliantly gory, highly entartaining and a fine example for a "guilty pleasure" type of horror movie. However, the first sequel failed to deliver the chills, and the second one was hardly watchable. This fall, director Declan O'Brien will bring "Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings" - obviously a prequel to the 2003 surprise hit, and judging from the trailer, it looks surprisingly decent, despite the fact it is a straght-to-DVD movie. Check out the red band trailer below, and let me know what you guys think of it.

“Wrong Turn 4″ DVD and Blu-ray release date is set for Oct 18, 2011.

Can't help it: I'm pretty sure this will suck about as much as Part 3.

Maynard, I disagree. I don't think it's going to be as awful as the third movie, but I'm pretty sure it will be as mediocre as the second one. LOL :)

I wish when they do these hillbilly killer flicks they would at least come up with some interesting characters. And my God, stop doing the standard stranded teens/college kids who walk willingly into the abandoned asylum/hospital/old house/broke-down town/mine/creepy cabin, etc. because of broken vehicle/storm or they're out of gas and or lost.

That being said, it should at least rise to sewer level like the second film. ;)

I rather doubt that the characters will be interesting or smart, but since most of them are going to die in a very gruesome way, I don't really care if they're likable or not. :)

I'm not necessarily excited about this prequel, but I'm curious about it. Hated both the second and the third film.

Harry, I'm not gonna hate you, I'll just say you're crazy :) C'mon, Part 2 was so amateurish, dude.

Part 2, while pretty dumb, was definitely preferable to the third film, one of the worst horror films I'd seen in a long time. Both pale in comparison to part one, imo. This fourth one looks, at least to me, like it could be any other horror flick other than an entry in the WRONG TURN series. I got to see the first movie in the theater twice and loved every minute of it.

venoms5, I couldn't agree more! The third films was quite hideous and it didn't even fell into the category so-bad-it's-good. I thought the first film was terribly underrated.

wow, they still make sequels to that? Unlike you, I wasn't impressed by the original..

Minoccio, unfortunately they do. Having said that, I think this one looks okay. The original was probably my guiltiest guilty pleasure :)
